Inspired by my first daughter, I pursued my passion for photography and started considered taking Senior portraits. But to learn photography I photographed sports and dogs and landscapes and runners and still life. I photographed families and babies. I photographed spiders and flowers. I even photographed bronzed sculptures and Christmas lights. But in the end, I just wanted to photograph people. And Seniors are my favorite. When I look at my portraits, I can see the child they were, and the adult they will become. It is such an incredible juxtaposition. Their soul will never change, but their looks will. So capturing the moment in time where the baby cheeks are gone but the wrinkles not there, the eyes are open and innocent not yet cynical and wise, the skin so smooth not yet weathered. And my baby letting me capture that moment is more precious than anything I could ever own. Watch out friends, pictures of her will keep coming!
